Asia and The Pacific face unprecedented challenges, ranging from pressure on the social structure to environmental collapse. These challenges are not regionally specific but are a part of global crisis, amplified by COVID-19. .
This panel brings together experts on India, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, South Korea, and Japan to discuss how these countries have been experiencing and responding to COVID-19. Speakers will address the crisis from a variety of perspectives including grassroots initiatives, religion, and language.
The aim of the panel is to delve into some of the social, cultural, political, and economic challenges caused by the pandemic across the region, as well as to explore the successes and obstacles experienced by these countries.
The panel will also inquire into the kinds of lessons we might draw from these diverse experiences and responses.
