The Academy\'s Gala Dinner is a night to honour our New Fellows, award stand-out early career researchers, recognise Jubilee Fellows, and celebrate another year of social science excellence across the country.

Each year, the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia elects the most distinguished social scientists in Australia as Fellows. These New Fellows will join the ranks of over 700 of Australia’s leading researchers and professionals across the social science disciplines.

In partnership with The Melbourne Institute, the Academy is proud to present a Flash Forum on the impact of US tariffs on global financial markets.
