Professor Andrew MacIntyre is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor International and Vice-President of RMIT University. In this capacity, he is responsible for international strategies in support of the University's overall strategic plan, with specific portfolio responsibilities for international development, partnerships and student recruitment. Prior to this appointment he was the Dean of the College of Asia and the Pacific and Director of the Research School of Asia and the Pacific at the Australian National University. Professor MacIntyre specialises in comparative politics and international relations, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. He has a particular interest in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. He is currently working on options for strengthening institutions for regional co-operation in Asia.
