Professor Diane Austin-Broos is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Sydney. She has worked both in the West Indies and in Central Australia. She is particularly interested in issues of social and cultural change and transformation. Other areas of interest include:

  • religion
  • the racialisation of difference
  • kinship
  • anthropological theory.
