Professor Graeme Halford of the University of Queensland, School of Psychology, worked on cognitive processes, with particular reference to complexity of reasoning and decision making. Professor Halford's research included a new metric for conceptual complexity applicable to humans and higher animals, with applications to mathematics education and command and control tasks.
