Gina Geffen is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Queensland, and is currently the chair of its Human Research Committee A. She is in private practice as Director of Clinical Psychology at the Brisbane Pain Rehabilitation Service.
She was previously Professor of Neuropsychology and Director of the Cognitive Psychophysiology Laboratory both at Flinders University and subseqwuently at the University of Queensland. She was Chair of the Psychology Registration Board of Queensland.from 1998-2008 and subsequently a foundation member of the Psychology Board of Australia from 2009-2014,
