Professor Ian Zimmer is former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Relations) at the University of Queensland. Professor Zimmer is a Professor of Accounting and held the post of Executive Dean, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law for ten years prior to his appointment to the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Relations) in May 2009. He specialises in corporate accounting and financial reporting issues.
