Professor Millicent Poole is the Vice-Chancellor of Edith Cowan University. Professor Poole's research interests have covered Life Span Development: Culture, Context and Life Possibilities; Language and Cognition: Class and Cultural Factors; Higher Education Policy Research. In her role as Vice-Chancellor, Professor Poole has a particular interest in the gendered nature of academic work, career development, women and leadership, and quality in higher education.
