Victor Callan is Professor of Management and Leadership at the University of Queensland Business School. Professor Callan studies change management, stress and coping with change, management and leadership development, and identity work through both qualitative and more quantitative studies. He also consults to business on these same topics. He has held 13 ARC grants, and has completed research with some of Australia's largest public and private sector companies on aspects of change management and employee well-being. He has served on the ARC Evaluation of Research for Australia (ERA) process and been a joint author on an ACOLA study of innovative Australian businesses. His publications are found in the Journal of Management, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin and Academy of Management Journal. His contributions to higher education were recognised by the award of a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).
