Stuart Macintyre was a leading figure across the fields of the Humanities and Social Sciences in Australia. To coincide with the publication of The Work of History – Writing for Stuart Macintyre, some of the contributors to this project address key themes and dimensions of his work and its consequences.

Join us at this free, full-day symposium as speakers reflect on Stuart Macintyre’s life and contributions. Places at the event are limited, so registration is essential.

This event is hosted by the Academy of the Social Sciences of Australia with support from the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
