Unravelling the Thrills and Trials of Mixed Feelings in Consumer Behaviour
Dr Felix Septianto
2023 Paul Bourke Lecture

The Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and the University of Queensland (UQ) Business School invites you to our Paul Bourke Lecture, Unravelling the Thrills and Trials of Mixed Feelings in Consumer Behaviour, on Wednesday 30 August 2023.

Positive emotions can inspire people to take action. But life can be complicated, and people often experience significant events that bring up mixed feelings.

Presented by Dr Felix Septianto, this lecture will explore the idea of mixed feelings, looking at how they may be beneficial for us psychologically and how we can learn to embrace them. Dr Felix Septianto will also discuss how mixed feelings can impact consumer behaviour in different contexts, including advertising and prosocial behaviour.

Enjoy the discussion, networking and canapés at our in-person event. Tickets are limited, so register today to ensure you don’t miss out!
