The Academy congratulates ASSA Fellow Professor John Freebairn, who was conferred Officer (AO) in the General Division of the Order of Australia in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for distinguished service to education in the field of applied economics, as an academic, administrator and author, and to policy development, particularly taxation reform.
