The Wilhelm, Martha and Otto Rechnitz Memorial Fund brandmark was created by Aboriginal designer Leigh Harris from Indigenous creative agency ingenous studios, in collaboration with Lalawa Donigi-Bedford, an aspiring Torres Strait Islander graphic designer from Cairns.
Inspired by the life and work of Dr Wilhelm Rechnitz in the Torres Straits, spanning over 24 years, the design serves as a visual tribute.
