Professor Gilah Leder is Emerita professor at La Trobe University and an Adjunct professor at Monash University. Her research expertise embraces gender issues, affect, the interaction between teaching, learning and assessment of mathematics, and exceptionality. She is a Past President of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education [PME] and a Past President of the Mathematics Research Group of Australasia [MERGA]. She was awarded the Felix Klein medal for outstanding lifetime achievements in mathematics education research and development and, more recently, the 2013 MERGA Career Research Medal.
