Professor Sue Richardson is Matthew Flinders Distinguished Professor at Flinders University and Principal Research Fellow of the National Institute of Labour Studies, Flinders University. Her principal research interests are in the fields of the labour market, the ageing workforce, immigration,income distribution and the economic resources devoted to children. Recent publications have focussed on the nature and economic circumstances of low wage workers, the regulation of the labour market, immigration, the ageing workforce, vocational education and the social investment in children.

She has a part-time appointment as a Member of the Fair Work Commission Expert Panel (Minimum Wages)
