2018
My contribution to the Social Sciences has been to develop and elaborate more expansive understandings of ‘the political’, and to advance theoretical analysis within these more expansive accounts. The international and domestic impact of my research has been particularly notable and influential with regard to addressing the ways in which gender, men/masculinities, care, sexuality, intimacy and embodiment, schooling, and cultural forms like film are necessarily part of power relations and the politics of everyday life, requiring specific articulation of socio-political theory and concepts.
