Professor Helen Christensen is Director, at BlackDog Institute, at the University of New South Wales. Her research interests concern the prevention of depression and anxiety disorders at a population level, the use of Internet and other technologies for health promotion, health and e-mental health policy, the self-management of disease, and changes in cognitive processes such as the memory and intelligence with age. Current key appointments include Immediate Past President, International Society for Internet Interventions, and Past President, Australasian Society for Psychiatric Research. She is currently a NHMRC John Cade Fellow.
