Emeritus Associate Professor Jeremy Beckett, was an Honorary Research Associate of the Department of Anthropology at the University of Sydney. His work focused on a comparative anthropological approach to the study of indigenous minorities, with special reference to Australia and the Americas, but also to the formation of a pan-indigenous identity.
