Richard Selleck is an Emeritus Professor from Monash University, and is also a Professorial Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Melbourne. He has recently completed The Shop, The University of Melbourne, 1850-1939 and, with Stuart Macintyre, A Short History of the University of Melbourne. Both were published in 2003 by Melbourne University Publishing.
